This riverside nook was designed with a simple goal in mind: to create a space where our clients could enjoy uninterrupted views of the Hawkesbury. The stripped-back design layers natural materials with sturdy plants, creating a seamless flow between the built structure and its spectacular surroundings. We honoured our client’s preference for handcrafted, sustainable design through the use of hand-shaped sandstone blocks and recycled timber sourced from a property in the Blue Mountains. These durable materials create a beautiful and practical space that is perfect to unwind in.
